Early this year, GAMEE has changed from free-to-play with friends into rewarded play. This was an important and difficult decision. We have seen the potential of taking our platform to another level, we wanted to find a way that rewards casual-style gaming and builds a reward system on top of entertainment.
At the same time, it seemed risky to decompose a product we have been building for 4 years without a certainty, how the new concept will be accepted, how our community will react.
Looking back, this was a good decision. This year has shown a strong growth in users, 6M people joined us this year, 20% of them was referred by a friend. Our players have played 800M gameplays and earned $1.9M in rewards.
This opened up a new path for GAMEE to grow and build on the play-to-earn concept moving forward. Dear 2021, we are ready.
