TL;DR: Over 1M $GMEE rewards, ranked matches & tournaments with $GMEE, new matchmaking and a ranking system with seasonal rewards by game.
Today is a special day for all of us in love with games 💝. Feb 14th marks the beginning of the main season! Season 1 will end on April 1st at 1 pm UTC, but now let’s dive into the details.
Leaderboard Ranks
Players can now qualify to rank in the leaderboard of each game, start competing against players from similar ranks and unlock higher tiers of $GMEE matches & tournaments. This means, higher ranks will be able to win more $GMEE per match & tournament.
These ranks are determined by the amount of League Points (LPs) of each player. These LPs are increased or reduced when a player wins or loses in ranked matches (the ones using $GMEE tokens). LPs are not impacted by practice tournaments or practice matches.
The qualification consists of 7 matches you have to complete before receiving a rank. If you win all 7, you’ll be directly in Silver rank!
Ranks
There are 6 ranks in total, starting from Bronze, and going all the way to the Legends. Let’s take a look at the LP ranges:
- Bronze: 250 LPs or less
- Silver: 251–750 LPs
- Gold: 751–1,500 LPs
- Diamond: 1,501–2,500 LPs
- Champion: 2,501–3,000 LPs
- Legend: +3,000 LPs
In each match, depending on your result, you’ll win or lose LPs:
- Win: +10 LPs
- Draw: +3 LPs
- Loss: -6 LPs
At the beginning of the next season, these ranks will be rebalanced.
$GMEE Season Leaderboard Rewards
Each of the games counts with its own leaderboard, and there are 50,000 $GMEE to be distributed among the top 100 players of each game! If you have a favorite game, now is your time to jump on the real competition!
These 50,000 $GMEE will be distributed as follows:

Anticheat 2.0 & Multi-accounting
With $GMEE matches and tournaments making a strong comeback, we needed to make sure Arc8 is a safe place for competitive players, with no room for cheaters and users with multiple accounts. We’ve taken several measures to ensure this, read it here.
Tournaments Rules
What about draws in tournament leaderboards - which happen more often in some games than in others.
The rule has been stated as follows: position in the leaderboard is prioritized by score first, and then, the timestamp when the score was submitted. The first player who reached the score takes priority on the leaderboard.
Daily Tasks
Daily tasks now have credit rewards to provide users with access to practice and sponsored tournaments. This allows users to enter the competition by getting their hands on some $GMEE and have their skills ready to climb up the ranks!
Sky Lords Tournaments
For G-Bot owners, there are 4 Sky Lords tournaments every day, with 1,700 $GMEE for the top 250 most skilled players taking their G-Bots to battle!
The game received an update during the pre-season with new boosters, a longer duration, and a more balanced impact of the G-Bots in the gameplay. The competition is fierce, to say the least!

- Token Tournaments: 100,000 $GMEE
- G-Bots Sky Lords Tournaments: 400,000 $GMEE
