Arc8 Season 2— Regular Season. All you need to know

TL;DR: Over 1.5M $GMEE rewards, ranked matches & tournaments with $GMEE, improved matchmaking, and a ranking system with seasonal rewards by game.

April 11th markets the start of the regular season, this time opening up the competition to even more winners, with an improved matchmaking system. Now, let’s dive in!

Leaderboard Ranks — Top 500

Players can qualify on the ranking leaderboard of each game, start competing against players from similar ranks and unlock higher tiers of GMEE matches & tournaments. This means that higher ranks will be able to win more GMEE per match & tournament.

These ranks are determined by the amount of League Points (LPs) of each player. These LPs are increased or reduced when a player wins or loses in ranked matches (the ones using GMEE tokens). LPs are not impacted by tournaments or practice matches.

The qualification consists of 7 matches you have to complete before receiving a rank.

Ranks — Reset & New Ranges

There are 6 ranks in total, starting from Bronze, and going all the way to the Legends. At the beginning of the season, all ranks have been reset to a lower LP amount to balance the competition.

Let’s take a look at the new LP ranges:

Bronze: 100 LPs or less
Silver: 101–250 LPs
Gold: 251–500 LPs
Diamond: 501–1,000 LPs
Champion: 1,001–2,000 LPs
Legend: +2,000 LPs

In each match, depending on your result, you’ll win or lose LPs:

Win: +10 LPs
Draw: +3 LPs
Loss: -6 LPs

GMEE Season Leaderboard Rewards

Each of the games counts with its own leaderboard, and there are 75,000 GMEE to be distributed among the top 500 players of each game! If you have a favorite game, now is your time to jump on the real competition!

Anticheat 2.0 & Multi-accounting

After the implementation of the anti-cheat and multi-accounting in the previous season, our quest for a fair platform still stands. We’ve taken several measures to ensure this, read them here.

Daily Tasks

Daily tasks now have credit rewards to provide users with access to practice and sponsored tournaments. This allows users to enter the competition by getting their hands on some GMEE and having their skills ready to climb up the ranks!

Dark Lords Tournaments

For G-Bot owners, Sky Lords has gotten a dark theme and a tweak in the name: Dark Lords. Starting April 16th, there will be 4 tournaments every day with a prize pool of 2,500 GMEE for the top 250 most skilled players taking their G-Bots to battle!

The Good Stuff: REWARDS

The favorite part of our community: token rewards! Here are the prize pools:

Token Tournaments: 150,000 GMEE
G-Bots Sky Lords Tournaments: 600,000 GMEE
Season Token Leaderboard Rewards: 750,000 GMEE splits between the 500 top players of each game (75,000 per game)
Total: 1,500,000 GMEE
