TL;DR: Arc8 tournaments will reward players with SAND, SPORT and MATIC from June 16!
The Arcadeverse is expanding! Arc8 is well on its way to becoming the ultimate platform that unites players, brands and game creators, and token partnerships in Season 3 are a crucial part of that.
We have already partnered with some of the greats — Manchester City, Atari, QuickSwap, REVV Motorsport, and Crazy Kings — but we aren’t stopping there. Following on from Season 2’s successful Token Takeovers, where players earned TOWER, QUICK and REVV, we’re delighted to announce that there are a whole bunch of exciting new partner tokens up for grabs in Season 3!
From June 16, Arc8 players will be able to enter sponsored game tournaments using GMEE as an access token, and earn these tokens as a reward. Whether they play our famed Man City Striker, the Atari classic Asteroids or the all-new dunking frenzy that is Hoop Shot, the Arcadeverse will pay out a whole host of different tokens, straight into players’ Arc8 Pay wallets! Here’s what players can get in return for their gaming skills this season:
SAND
- 16–20 June (1pm UTC)
- The native token of the Sandbox Metaverse, used to buy and sell LAND and NFTs
- $5000 worth of SAND tokens to give away
SPORT
- 23–27 June (1pm UTC)
- The native token of Lympo’s ecosystem, including an upcoming basketball management game and a chess game in cooperation with the legendary chess grandmaster Magnus Carlsen
- $5000 worth of SPORT tokens to give away
MATIC
- June 30 — July 4 (1pm UTC)
- The native token of the Polygon network, used to secure and govern the network and pay gas fees
- $5000 worth of MATIC tokens to give away
